The Sonax Ceramic Polish from the Xtreme product line is a handy 2 in 1 polish. This polishing paste works perfectly to give the paint back extra shine in a smooth way by removing small scratches and at the same time protecting the paint back by leaving a ceramic protective layer protecting your work. So it is a combination product of a polishing paste with a ceramic sealer.
The Sonax Ceramic Polish is designed to be used both by hand and machine, although we recommend this polish for manual use and the Profiline version OS 02-06 if you want to work with a polisher.
The Sonax Ceramic Polish is designed to remove or reduce minor wax scratches and superficial matting of the varnish layer. This will immediately give the paintwork extra shine and reflection. The ceramic protective layer also makes the paintwork silky smooth and the treated surfaces water and dirt repellent for up to 2 months. So this way, your car will also stay clean longer, but also easier to clean. You can also extend the protective effect afterwards by lightly misting the paint with a ceramic detailer such as the Sonax Ceramic Quick Detailer every 3-4 weeks after you wash the car.
If you have plastic or rubber parts on the outside of your car that are near the paintwork you want to treat, it is advisable to treat these parts first with a plastic or rubber dressing. This way, these parts are already nourished and protected so that they cannot absorb the ingredients in the Sonax Ceramic Polish which can sometimes cause white smudges on plastic or rubber parts.
Use the Sonax Ceramic Polish only on completely clean surfaces. When you polish the paint if there is still dirt on the paint you will again make wax scratches in the paint. Also make sure not to use the product on warm paintwork or in the sun. This can cause the product to dry much too quickly and when using a polisher you can even burn the paint. Also, do not use the product in freezing weather as the gliding agents in the Sonax Ceramic Polish cannot work then.
