Tire Shine
Information about tire shine
Tire black is a simple product but it can complete the look of a car. Over time, tires get a dull, gray and dried out look from the sun's UV rays. With a good tire black you can make your tires look nice and black again so they look fresh and new.
Tire black generally exists in spray form and in gel form. This is matter of application though almost the same. You can often just spray the spray directly on the tires. Sometimes you have to work it in with a microfiber cloth or applicator. And sometimes you can just let it dry without problems. You have to apply the gel on an applicator first and then rub it over the tires. Put as with the spray form, we do recommend removing the excess product before driving. Otherwise, while driving, the excess product can sway away and end up on the paintwork that can cause dirty spots.
It is also always advisable to thoroughly clean the tires before applying tire black. This can be done with a rim cleaner that also cleans the tires or with a degreaser. A good brush with hard bristles will allow you to scrub away the dirt well. Always try to keep cleaning the tires until you no longer get brown foam but that it is nice and white. This is your indication that the tires are clean. That way your tires black will adhere optimally and stay black as long as possible.
Try to avoid using very aggressive degreasers on a regular basis to clean your tires. There are certain oils and greases in the tires that prevent them from drying out and tearing. If you clean your tires too much with heavy degreasers, you can remove these oils and greases prematurely, which will cause your tires to rupture faster.
You can determine the gloss by the product. They usually describe what kind of finish they give on the tires. Matte black or high gloss. You can also generally get more gloss by applying the tire black multiple times. Even though you apply the product more than once, the durability of your tires black will remain the same.
