Insect Remover
Information about insect remover
An insect remover speeds up the washing process and makes it a lot more pleasant. We are all familiar with stubborn insect residue that ends up especially on your front bumper, hood, windshield and mirrors. When insect residue stays on the car for too long, it can burn in since it is an acidic substance. Therefore, it is recommended to always remove insect residue as soon as possible. Not only to prevent damage to the paintwork but also since a car full of insect remains looks rather untidy. When insect remains burn in, it can cause permanent damage to the paintwork that can only be removed by polishing or sanding. And even in some cases, the panel will have to be repainted.
It is best to use an insect remover for this since they are specifically designed to remove instect residue. There are also shampoos and degreasers that you can potentially use to remove insect residue, but a specialized bug remover always works better than a general product that just has strong cleaning power. If you are short on time and don't have time to fully wash your car afterwards, you can also use the bug remover along with a microfiber cloth.
The insect remover is formulated in such a way that it will break down organic compounds. Because of this, we also recommend always using gloves when using the product. It is also recommended to never use it in direct sunlight or on warm surfaces so that the product can soak in and not dry quickly on the surface which can sometimes cause problems.
An insect remover starts by dissolving the insect remains so that they can be sprayed off the car with a pressure washer. If residue still remains on the car then the bug remover will begin to loosen it and you can remove it with a special bug sponge. In this way you can quickly, easily and safely remove this nasty dirt from your car. After you have removed the insects, we recommend washing the car with a bucket and a pH neutral car shampoo. This way you can be sure that all the acidic particles of the insects are removed from the paint and there is no more insect remover between the cracks and crevices of the car.
