The Nanolex Thin Purple Polishing Pad is a pad thats used to remove small defects and swirls and leave a nice finish. This pad is available in different sizes so you always have the right pad for the right backingplate for the right polisher. It doesn't have a hole in the middle of the polishingpad meaning it's great for rotary polishers, but can be used on Dual Action polishers aswell.
The Nanolex Thin Purple Polishing Pad are a revolutionary concept. In addition to being constructed from reticulated foam for additional resilience against tearing, these pads have a colour-change heat function.
Modern clearcoats have a tendency to deteriorate when heated beyond 50 degrees Celsius. softer clearcoats and new lacquers are particularly susceptible to this type of heat-induced damage.
To help determine when the friction generated by the action of the machine polisher and pad has reached this limit, Nanolex Thermo Pads have an colour-change pigment impregnated into the foam. When the pad reaches 50 degrees Celsius, the pad changes to a white colour. As the pad cools, the normal colour returns.
This pad has a bit harsher structure than the finishing pad structure so you can remove small defects but still have a nice finish. It doesn't have any sharp edges and is flexible so you can work efficiently. These pads work perfect when using them in comination with the Nanolex Polishes.
